Hazel Myers, 94, of Pensacola passed away on October 12, 2016. Hazel was born September 20, 1922 in Cantwell, Alabama to Henry and Ruth Green.
Hazel married Charles Myers and they traveled extensively because of his military service to our country. They retired in Pensacola and raised 2 children, Ben Myers, and Melody (Myers) Weber. Hazel will be remembered the most for her strong Christian faith, her love and generosity towards others, her extreme hospitality, and her beautiful spirit. She was a member of Olive Baptist church where she had actively volunteered for many years.

She is survived by her children, Charles Benjamin Myers Jr. and Melody Myers Weber; her sister, Helen Green Caldwell and nieces and nephews; her grandchildren, Holly Weber Parker, Susan Weber Gray, Morgan Leigh Bennett, and Lindsay Rae Myers; great-grandchildren Trent Parker, Sam, Caroline, and Beatrice Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
